Student Initiative
Student Memberships are available for NAIOP!
You are eligible for Student membership if you are a full-time student who is not otherwise employed in the commercial real estate industry. Student members are eligible for reduced membership rates ($56 for NAIOP Piedmont Tiad). Click here for more information.
Note: Following graduation, a student will no longer be able to renew membership through the student membership program, but will retain the membership through their expiration date. If, after graduation, you are qualified to continue membership in another membership category, you will be contacted by NAIOP staff and instructed accordingly. This category does not renew automatically. You will be asked to provide documentation every year.
2025 NAIOP Piedmont Triad Student Scholarship Opportunity
As part of our mission, NAIOP Piedmont Triad believes we must encourage and support the next generation of commercial real estate professionals. We are proud to sponsor a Student Scholarship to increase awareness of NAIOP and help advance the careers of young professionals.
Scholarship Criteria:
Applicants can apply for a NAIOP Student Membership And a NAIOP NC Conference Registration (inclusive of (1) night hotel and mileage). Up to 3 students will be selected.
- · Must be a full-time student (at least 12 credit hours per semester) enrolled in commercial development associated fields.
- · Must be approved by professor or instructor for selection.
Award Recipients:
- (1) year of student NAIOP Membership sponsored by the chapter (NAIOP membership is national, so membership includes access to NAIOP Corporate and NAIOP Piedmont Triad resources)
- (1) NAIOP NC Conference Registration + (1) night hotel & mileage. The 2025 NAIOP NC Conference will be held February 20-21, 2025. Click here for conference details.
- Complimentary attendance at NAIOP Luncheons and Developing Leader events.
- Assigned NAIOP mentor from the current NAIOP Piedmont Triad board of directors.
- Recognition as a scholarship winner at a NAIOP Piedmont Triad luncheon.
- Recognition as a scholarship winner via e-blast and social media platforms.
Scholarship Expectations:
Attendance at regular NAIOP events expected (but not required). Attendance at NAIOP luncheons is complimentary & attendance at NAIOP NC Conference on Thursday, February 21, 2025.
Application Process:
- Complete the application on page (2). Instructor signature required on page 3.
- Tell us why you want to join the NAIOP Piedmont Triad Chapter (or the NAIOP NC Conference)·
- Return the application (signed by professor or instructor) to [email protected] by Friday, January 31, 2025.
- Winners will be notified via email by February 6, 2025.
